Residents in areas at risk of further flooding have also been urged to move to safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Authorities have advised the public to avoid unnecessary travel along the Prithvi Highway, Galchhi\u2013Nuwakot\u2013Rasuwa\u2013Syafrubesi road and Muglin\u2013Narayangadh road due to increased risks from floods and landslides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following Prime Minister Balendra Shah\u2019s direction, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, the Nepal Army, district administration and disaster management agencies have intensified rescue and relief operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two Nepal Army helicopters, accompanied by medical teams, have been deployed to the affected areas for search, rescue and relief. Helicopters from private companies have also been kept on standby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, a meeting of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority is underway at the Ministry of Home Affairs in Singha Durbar.
