He received 57 votes including 40 from his party UML and 17 of the NCP. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Provincial Assembly members of the Nepali Congress voted against him. Out of 29 members of the Nepali Congress, 22 votes were cast against Karki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Five members of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party remained neutral. The only provincial assembly member of the Janata Samajwadi Party, Nirmala Limbu, did not attend today&#8217;s meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A total of 83 members participated in the voting.
