Nepalgunj: The flight from Nepalgunj to Pokhara which was suspended for long is being resumed from the second week of September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Buddha Air, a leading private airline company in the country, announced to resume the flight in Nepalgunuj-Pokhara route from September 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Station Manager of Nepalgunj branch of Buddha Air, Binit Bikram Shah, shared that a decision to restart the flight from Nepalgunj to Pokhara was taken following the demand from the passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Nepalgunj-Pokhara route connects India’s Uttar Pradesh to the tourist city of Pokhara and is an easy flight to the tourists from Indian cities close to the Nepalgunj airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The flight from Nepalgunj to Pokhara was suspended some four months ago, citing fuel price hike and decrease in Indian pilgrims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, the number of religious tourists has also increased in recent weeks, stimulating the demands for aviation service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shah stated that the flights shall take place every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday in a week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The tourism fraternities have expressed their happiness after the flight resumption along the route, stating that it would promote tourism in the two cities.
