Kathmandu, July 21:<\/strong> The Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration has instructed district coordination officers and chief administrative officers across the country to remain at their duty stations and attend offices regularly to ensure an effective disaster response during the monsoon season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In a recent circular, the Ministry directed local officials not to leave their workplaces at this critical time, stressing that their active presence is essential for timely coordination, decision-making and emergency response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The directive comes as continuous rainfall has triggered floods and landslides in several parts of the country, increasing the need for swift rescue, relief and rehabilitation efforts.
