{"id":431367,"date":"2026-06-17T12:05:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-17T06:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/?p=431367"},"modified":"2026-06-17T14:06:46","modified_gmt":"2026-06-17T08:21:46","slug":"tu-issues-notice-to-non-returning-professors-warns-of-legal-action","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/2026\/06\/17\/431367.html","title":{"rendered":"TU issues notice to non-returning professors, warns of legal action"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Kathmandu: <\/strong>Tribhuvan University (TU) has directed professors and staff members who took study leave but failed to return to service to contact the university within 15 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Issuing a public notice on Wednesday, TU\u2019s Study Leave Management and Implementation Committee urged those who did not resume duties after completing their studies, as well as those who left before the stipulated period under university rules, to report to the committee\u2019s office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The notice warned that legal action would be taken in accordance with agreements signed with the university and its regulations if they fail to comply within the deadline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to TU, 50 professors have already repaid more than 118.4 million rupees.
