The Gaur Eye Hospital and Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangha jointly conducted an eye check-up at three different sites as part of an extensive health campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This initiative was aimed at individuals of all ages, from children to senior citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In collaboration with the Seva Foundation, a specialised eye check-up programme was organised for children from both private and public schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The eye tests and consultations were carried out by Ophthalmologist Shiv Kumar Yadav, vision specialist Poonam Yadav, and a technical team comprising approximately 15 members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the check-up, free glasses were provided to 83 visually impaired children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ophthalmologist Yadav emphasised that the prompt identification and treatment of visual impairments can significantly enhance children’s academic performance and daily activities.
