Sherpa was a member of the expedition, serving as a support worker. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"512\" height=\"342\" src=\"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/03\/sagarmatha.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-404235\" style=\"width:785px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/03\/sagarmatha.jpg 512w, https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/03\/sagarmatha-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 512px) 100vw, 512px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>He had been missing since May 30, but was spotted alive and medevaced to Kathmandu after five days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Information Officer at the Department of Tourism, Himal Gautam, shared that a person from the Everest Pollution Control Committee found the missing Sherpa at Crampon Point close to the Everest Base Camp. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Committee&#8217;s staff carried Sherpa from Crampon Point to Gorakshep, from where he was airlifted to Kathmandu.
