{"id":430083,"date":"2026-05-18T22:08:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-18T16:23:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/?p=430083"},"modified":"2026-05-18T22:08:10","modified_gmt":"2026-05-18T16:23:10","slug":"over-3200-patients-visit-bharatpur-hospital-in-a-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/2026\/05\/18\/430083.html","title":{"rendered":"Over 3,200 patients visit Bharatpur Hospital in a day"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Narayangadh (Chitwan): <\/strong>The number of patients visiting Bharatpur Hospital has increased on Monday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"663\" height=\"470\" src=\"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/05\/Bharatpur-Hospital.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-430084\" style=\"width:785px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/05\/Bharatpur-Hospital.png 663w, https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/05\/Bharatpur-Hospital-300x213.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 663px) 100vw, 663px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The flow of patients for the<strong> <\/strong>out-patient department (OPD) service increased on Monday after the government&#8217;s decision of a two-day weekly holiday for Saturday and Sunday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Public Health Officer of the Hospital, Prakash Panta, shared that more than 3,200 patients through insurance and non-insurance facilities received health care services on Monday itself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, around 2,500 patients used to visit the hospital every day before the decision of the two-day weekly holiday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Problems have surfaced in referring patients from Bharatpur Hospital due to the increasing number. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ram Bilas Lamichhane of Ratnanagar-12, who is waiting for the referral letter of the hospital for eye treatment, complained of a delay in the service due to the patient crowd. Lamichhane mentioned that he arrived at the hospital at 8:00 am and waited until 12:00 in the afternoon, adding that a separate arrangement should be made for the referral service with insurance coverage and drew the attention of the concerned. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The hospital&#8217;s spokesperson, Dr Ram Prasad Sapkota, shared that the number of patients increased on Monday due to a two-day weekly holiday. Spokesperson Sapkota said, &#8220;We provide OPD service from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on other days. OPD tickets are available from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
