{"id":429738,"date":"2026-05-11T17:00:30","date_gmt":"2026-05-11T11:15:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/?p=429738"},"modified":"2026-05-11T17:00:31","modified_gmt":"2026-05-11T11:15:31","slug":"eight-ordinances-tabled-in-the-na","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/2026\/05\/11\/429738.html","title":{"rendered":"Eight ordinances tabled in the NA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Kathmandu:<\/strong> Eight different ordinances have been presented in today&#8217;s meeting of the National Assembly (NA), which had earlier been brought by the incumbent government. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"390\" height=\"220\" src=\"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/05\/Ordinance.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-429739\" style=\"width:785px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/05\/Ordinance.jpg 390w, https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/05\/Ordinance-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/05\/Ordinance-340x191.jpg 340w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 390px) 100vw, 390px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam, on the behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, tabled the Public Procurement (Second Amendment) Ordinance-2083, the Ordinance on Special Provisions Relating to the Removal of Public Officials-2083 and the Constitutional Council (Functions, Duties, Powers and Procedures) (First Amendment-2083). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting of the Upper House also witnessed the introduction of the Ordinance to Amend Certain Nepal Acts, 2083, by Minister Gautam. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Likewise, Minister for Finance, Dr Swarnim Wagle, presented the Prevention of Money Laundering (Third Amendment)-2083 in the Assembly&#8217;s meeting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Pratibha Rawal submitted the Cooperative (First Amendment) Ordinance-2083.
