Kanchanpur: The Bhimdatta Municipality has implemented the ‘Daughter-in-law Higher Education Scholarship’ programme aimed at increasing women’s access to higher education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The municipality has implemented this programme to support meritorious, Dalit, and underprivileged daughters and daughters-in-law within the municipal area in pursuing higher education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under this programme, priority has been given to technical and vocational education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the municipality’s Chief Administrative Officer, Mahesh Bahadur Bam, two students will receive a scholarship of Rs 200 thousand each for MBBS studies, and three students will receive Rs 100 thousand each for engineering studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Similarly, six female students studying in other faculties, including nursing, pharmacy, science, management, education, and humanities, will be provided with Rs 50 thousand each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe believe that this programme will provide relief to female students who face difficulties in attaining higher education due to financial constraints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
