The probe panel tasked as per the Investigation Act, 2026, has also received its terms of reference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given a one-year term, the Commission will launch an in-depth investigation into the assets of the political leaders holding public posts and the high-level government officials in the last two decades. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is required to submit its report to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers once the investigation is over, while the government is mandated to enforce the report within 45 days. The Commission receives complaints through any medium- written, verbal, electronic or social media. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per need, it can appoint any expert maintaining no conflict of interest.
