Gandaki: The Gandaki Province Assembly passed the Public Health Bill unanimously. The Assembly meeting held on Tuesday passed the bill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The bill, along with a report from the social development and agriculture committee of the Assembly, was presented at the NA meeting. Earlier, it was sent to the committee for clause-wise discussion on April 4, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Province Assembly members, including Dil Maya Pauwi, Kusum Budha Pun and Debaka Pahad Tripathi, took part in the deliberation on the bill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minister for Health Krishna Prasad Pathak had presented the bill in the assembly meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the meeting, Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pande admitted that they could not bring a new bill during the winter session due to a lack of time. He pledged the provincial government was committed to good governance, transparency, corruption control and frugality.
