Kathmandu, March 28: The government has introduced a list of 100 priority actions under a new Delivery-Based Governance approach aimed at making public service more result-oriented, effective, measurable and accountable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The decision was endorsed by a Cabinet meeting held on Friday to ensure visible improvements in people\u2019s daily lives through the timely implementation of government plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the initiative, the government will prepare a \u201cNational Commitment\u201d by consolidating key implementable agendas from the election manifestos and commitment documents of political parties that participated in the House of Representatives elections held on March 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To operationalise the plan, each ministry has been directed to draft an action plan within a week. The plan must include 10 priority tasks, along with clear deadlines, designated responsible officials and key performance indicators to track progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, the government will form a task force to prepare a \u201cConstitution Amendment Debate Paper\u201d within seven days, aiming to build a broader national consensus on potential constitutional amendments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
