Sudurpaschim: A man has shot dead his wife, and unsuccessfully tried to kill himself too, in Godavari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ram Bahadur Magar, 31, of Ameleshani village in Godavari Municipality-4, Kailali, shot dead his 27-year-old wife, Sanjita Magar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sanjita died on the spot. After shooting his wife, Ram Bahadur tried to shoot himself too, but failed. He was rushed to Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhangadhi, in an unconscious state, shared Yogendra Timilsina, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Kailali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Citing locals, Timilsina said that Ram Bahadur argued with his wife, Sanjita while they were grazing goats in a forest near the village on Wednesday afternoon and shot her in a fit of rage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAfter reports from locals last night, a police team reached the spot and has started an investigation. The time of the incident has not been confirmed,\u201d Timilsina said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
