Kathmandu, March 17:<\/strong> The Communist Party of China has congratulated the Rastriya Swatantra Party for its performance in the March 5 elections to the House of Representatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In a message sent by the International Department of the CPC, the Chinese party extended best wishes to the RSP for its electoral success and expressed willingness to work with Nepal to further strengthen bilateral relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The message highlighted China\u2019s readiness to deepen political mutual trust, advance high-quality cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, and promote closer cooperation between the two countries for the benefit of their people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Chief of the RSP\u2019s International Relations Department Shishir Khanal shared details of the message, saying it was received by the party through an official letter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to Khanal, the CPC expressed hope that relations between Nepal and China would reach a new level under the leadership of RSP President Rabi Lamichhane and senior leader Balendra Shah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The CPC also conveyed its interest in strengthening exchanges and mutual learning with the RSP to promote stable and long-term bilateral relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The RSP, in response, stated that it gives high priority to relations with neighbouring countries while remaining committed to Nepal\u2019s independent foreign policy and the principles of Panchasheel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Kathmandu, March 17: The Communist Party of China has congratulated the Rastriya Swatantra Party for its performance in the March 5 elections to the House of Representatives.
