The unexpected intrusion created fear among locals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Paban Kumar Bhattarai, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Kathmandu, the Division Forest Office team successfully brought the animal under control using a tranquilizer dart and secured it without further incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the incident, the leopard attacked two locals\u2014Dulal Maharjan and Mayanath Wagle\u2014leaving them injured. Both have been rushed to a hospital for treatment.
