Dr. Augustine Thomas S.J. said the workshop emphasized learning through practice and helped students strengthen responsible and fact-based reporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kunda Dixit, publisher of <em>Nepali Times<\/em> and adjunct professor at NYU Abu Dhabi, highlighted the importance of reading in developing strong journalistic writing and contextual understanding of facts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Faculty Lead Chun Bahadur Gurung noted that while AI tools are increasingly used in journalism, writing remains central to communication, adding that the workshop has been organized since 2021 to prepare students for a changing media landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop was facilitated by media professionals including Sonia Awale, Rajneesh Bhandari, and Prabesh Subedi. A total of 32 students participated.
