Kathmandu, Jan 23: Minister for Home Affairs Om Prakash Aryal presented three ordinances in the meeting of the National Assembly today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ordinances tabled by the Home Minister include: ‘The Voters List Act, 2073 Amendment Ordinance, 2082’, ‘The House of Representatives Member Election (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2082’ and ‘The Nepal Special Service Act (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2082’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Similarly, Kamala Pant, Chairperson of the Committee on Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance, presented the ‘National Integrity Policy Study Report, 2082’ in the National Assembly session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Likewise, Tulasa Kumari Dahal, Chairperson of the Legislative Management Committee, presented the committee’s report on the ‘Tourism Bill, 2081’ to the Upper House.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the meeting, Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal read out the letters received from the President’s office regarding the formation of the Council of Ministers and the assignment of their responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting passed a condolence motion on the demise of former ministers Rishikesh Gautam, Mohammad Aftab Alam, Amod Prasad Upadhyay, Homnath Dahal and former MP Krishna Kumari Shrestha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The next meeting of the National Assembly will be held on Tuesday, January 27 at 1:15pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
