Kathmandu, Dec 28:<\/strong> The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Kathmandu Mayor Balendra Shah have finalized a seven-point agreement on key political issues ahead of the March 5 House of Representatives elections. The agreement was signed this morning by RSP President Rabi Lamichhane and Mayor Shah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to the agreement shared on social media, the party will uphold the youth-led movement against corruption and poor governance and ensure that the demands of affected families, including the injured and martyrs, are addressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Under the agreement, Rabi Lamichhane will continue as the party\u2019s central president, while Balendra Shah will be the party\u2019s prime ministerial candidate for the upcoming elections and, if elected, will lead the parliamentary party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The agreement also confirms that the party\u2019s name and election symbol will remain that of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, with its office in Kathmandu.
