June 18, Kathmandu: <\/strong>Deputy Speaker Indira Rana Magar departed for South Africa on Wednesday morning for a four-day visit. She is attending a high-level dialogue on democracy in Pretoria, South Africa.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The event, organised by the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA), Open Society Foundation, and South Africa\u2019s Department of International Relations and Cooperation, is scheduled for June 19-20. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Titled \u201cReimagining Democracy in Africa: Comparative Experiences from the Global South,\u201d the dialogue aims to discuss key democratic issues. <\/span><\/span>Deputy Speaker Rana is set to return to Nepal on June 22.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
