Kathmandu:<\/strong> Public Service Broadcasting Nepal’s Executive Chairperson Dr. Mahendra Bista has emphasized more inclusive content production.<\/p>\n

In a three-day training on ‘Inclusive broadcast content production and broadcasting’ that began today at Public Service Broadcasting Radio Nepal on the occasion of World Radio Day, Executive Chairperson Dr. Bista said it is necessary to make its broadcast content, including news and programs, more inclusive to move PSB forward.<\/p>\n

Executive Chairman Bista emphasized that as PSB moves forward in a new way under the changed structure, its broadcast content should be more citizen-centric and the language should be made more inclusive.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Radhika Aryal, Secretary at the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, said that the role of PSB would be effective in fulfilling the state’s concept of building an inclusive state.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Secretary Aryal said that inclusion would be effective if the content broadcast by PSB could cover the issues of citizens with limited access, including those from different classes, regions, castes, and languages.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Bishnu Ram Neupane, Acting Chief Administrative Officer of Public Service Broadcasting Nepal, said that the training would be fruitful in making the work of producing and broadcasting programs more productive in line with the policies adopted by PSB.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Khagendra Khatri, Deputy Executive Director of Public Service Broadcasting Nepal, expressed confidence that the knowledge and skills learned in the training would help PSB move forward in a transformed structure.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Pushkar Raj Gautam, Director and Chief of Planning, Extension and Development Division of Public Service Broadcasting Nepal Radio Nepal, informed that discussions and interactions will be held during the training regarding the inclusion of inclusive content in news and programs.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Currently, Radio Nepal and Nepal Television are broadcasting news and programs in 25 different languages. The training, which will involve employees working in news and programs at Public Service Broadcasting Nepal, will be conducted for three days starting today, and experts in various languages \u200b\u200bwill facilitate the training.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, Radhika Aryal, Secretary of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology and the then Chair of the Board of Directors of the Radio Broadcasting Service Development Committee was honoured for her contribution to the organization.<\/p>\n
