Foreign Minister, Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, has been actively engaging with key stakeholders. She recently held talks with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, who assured Nepal of Israel\u2019s continued efforts to secure Joshi\u2019s release. Minister Dr Rana also sought Qatar\u2019s support, emphasizing its crucial mediating role in the negotiations.<\/p>\n

The ceasefire agreement aims to end 15 months of conflict. It outlines a six-week truce and humanitarian assistance, with the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces. U.S. President Joe Biden highlighted the agreement\u2019s focus on reuniting hostages with their families.<\/p>\n
