In a message of best wishes for the 7th Social Security Day on Tuesday, PM Oli stated that the government is actively working to implement the social security scheme systematically.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Currently, there isn&#8217;t a situation in the country where citizens feel a lack of protection or guardianship. For the welfare of citizens, both the State and the government are present,&#8221; PM Oli emphasized.<\/p>\n<p>He argued that the government prioritized social justice and dignity on its path to prosperity, adding that the government&#8217;s devotion to its people ensures that no one was left helpless. According to PM Oli, social security is enshrined as a fundamental right for citizens in the constitution.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;To realize the broader concept of social security, the government is preparing an action plan, along with associated programs and budgets, and enforcing these accordingly,&#8221; he noted.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, he recalled that it was the CPN UML-led government that first launched a social security scheme in 2051 BS, providing monthly allowances to senior citizens, single women, and those in need.
