Lumbini, Nov 5: Chief Minister of Lumbini Province, Chet Narayan Acharya, is going on a visit to China, leading a seven-member delegation, to participate in an international conference to be held in Sichuan Province from November 11-13.<\/p>\n
A meeting of the Lumbini Province Government today approved the Chief Minister’s visit to China, said Dinesh Panthi, the provincial government spokesperson and Minister for Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives. <\/p>\n
The Chief Minister will be accompanied by Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Dhanendra Karki, Chief Secretary Mahadev Pantha and other high-level officials of the provincial government during the visit.<\/p>\n
Lumbini Province and Sichuan Province have established sisterly relations in 2076 BS with the objective of further promoting mutual cooperation and goodwill between them. <\/p>\n
A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Lumbini province government and Sichuan Province for cooperation in various sectors, including agriculture, industry and tourism. <\/p>\n
Spokesperson Pantha said high-level talks will be held during the visit on implementing the development plans for the overall development of the province and for the expansion of bilateral cooperation and collaboration.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
