Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Shakti Bahadur Basnet tabled the bill which was unanimously endorsed by the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It seeks to put in place legal provisions to promote, develop and expand renewable energy, thereby giving a boost to environmental conservation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The increase of general people&#8217;s access to sustainable energy has been emphasized and for this, there is a provision of coordination among the concerned agencies in the three-tier governments.
