The deceased has been identified as 50-year-old Soliram Tharu, according to the Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office Bardia, Hikmat Bahadur Bohara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tharu was attacked by the elephant when he was out on a morning walk near the East-West Highway.
