Khadga Raj Shahi elected as Ward Chairperson of Tilgufa Municipality-4

Surkhet: Khadga Raj Shahi, a candidate from the Nepal Workers and Peasants’ Party, has been elected as the Ward Chairperson of Tilgufa Municipality-4, Kalikot.

According to the Election Commission, Shahi attained 143 votes to be elected as the Chairperson.

His closest contender in the by-election, from the CPN (Maoist Centre), Naisobha Shahi received 115 votes.

Likewise, CPN (UML)’s Ain Bahadur Shahi received 78 votes, Pail Bahadur Shahi received 49 votes, Rastriya Prajantra Party’s Gogan Bahadur Shahi attained 17 votes and Rastriya Swatantra Party’s Gagan Bam received 5 votes.
