Buddhist followers have incredible contributions for world peace, Tourism Minister says
Kathmandu: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Pandey has said that Buddhist followers have incredible contributions to spreading the messages of world peace.
At the Fourth World Peace Worship organized by the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) on Thursday, Minister Pandey said contribution to the world peace was made due to the Buddhist followers.
Pandey added that peace could prevail in the world through Buddhism at a time when society was prioritizing wealth instead of knowledge.
Saying that Nepal is the source country of peace, Minister Pandey argued that every individual from the world should visit Nepal once in his/her lifetime and called for creating an environment conducive to visiting Nepal repeatedly after visiting once.
Pandey stated that unity and reconciliation should be across the world since the world is a family.
We have been searching for the peace to safeguard the world from the climate change impacts and added that all should work for the world peace and fraternity, according to Minister Pandey.
