In-service training is for better result: Minister Neupane

Kathmandu, Aug 11: Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration, Bhagawati Neupane, has reminded the government employees that in-service training is not only for promotion but also for better performance and results.

The training helps build competence and ensure effective public service delivery, she underlined.

The Minister made such remarks while inaugurating an in-service training begun for the section officers to be mobilized under the provincial and local governments. The training lasts for a month.

The training hones both knowledge and skills, she said, adding that different services require different sorts of training to thrive well in profession.

According to the Minister, accountability, transparency and timeliness are essential in current bureaucracy.
