Motorable bridge constructed over Trishuli River
November 14, Kathmandu: A motorable bridge was constructed over the Trishuli River in Bidur Municipality in Nuwakot district replacing a truss bridge built some six decades ago.
The new bridge was built with an investment of Rs 80 million. Mayor of Bidur Municipality Rajan Shrestha said that the development of the bridge had eased the mobility of people from Nuwakot and Dhading districts.
The two-lane bridge is 11 metres wide and can bear heavy vehicles too. The newly constructed bridge has 35 metric tonnes of bearing capacity and was built under the ‘Design and Build Model’.
